Beer a very important thing... if you are interested Princess Penguin

Go to the Princess Cruises Board and look for the thread

How can Princess accomodate 3K passengers and have NO drinkable beer?

Beer is a very serious thing... I like mine served cold.

Cheers Don

Thanks - Fat Yak sounds like a winner!

If you get a chance also try a Wild Yak and a Lazy Yak.

Fat Yak is styled on an American Pale Ale.

Lazy Yak is styled as a Session Ale.

Wild Yak is styled as a Pacific Pale Ale.

Wild Yak is my favourite.

XXXX wasn't on the drinks list photo that I got the info from. Not sure if it's available onboard.

XXXX Gold is available on P&O, Princess, and Carnival, that I know of.

How dare Princess put that horrible Fourex Gold on board, ok to put it on P&O and Carnival for the masses. But Princess Cruisers are discerning people, Peroni and Heineken, please.:halo:

xxxx was available on the Celebrity Solstice on the Australian and New Zealand cruises P&O UK serve real beer it’s warm so you can put a tea bag in it Aussie

Having done a few P&O UK cruises on Oriana, Arcadia and Aurora they do have chilled draught lagers like Stella Artois and Kronenberg and Extra Cold Guinness. Most of their of their canned/bottled beer, like Heineken, John Smith etc are also chilled.:*

A quick online search shows BWS having Boags (a favorite of mine) and Cascade. Could be other brands I'm not aware of.

Hi Lyndarra,

I got my Boags at another shop... but I should point out is was only a small BWS store......

My point is that even a small bottle shop can't stock what you want, so it must to very hard for Princess to choose a drink lists to please most of us.

PS if you like Boags have you tried their Wizard Smith very nice but only available in Northern Tassie

Cheers Don
