Another stupid question -- Hangers?

PACKING TIP. Put your cruise's clothes on wire hangers (shirt & pants one hanger), group hangers into groups of 2 or 3. Put into the flimsy plastic bags from dry cleaning store. Using back and forth motion, layer them into suitcase. The plastic lets the clothes "slide" against each other reducing wrinkling. Unpacking takes less than five minutes by just picking up the hangers

We often have to ask the steward for more, but there are always some in the closet.

Our cabins must be where your hangers end up Paul! Literally every Princess cruise we have to pull at least half the hangers off the rail because they clatter together as the ship moves when they don't have clothes on them to pad them. We bundle them all up inside a towel to stop the noise, then rehang them on the last morning (just seems rude to leave it to the steward).

OP - unless you have an awful lot of clothes that need hung up, or have 3+ folks in your cabin, I'd guess too many hangers in the room is more likely than too few.
