Green Card Cruising Out Of Long Beach

Has anyone cruised with just a photo ID and their green card out of Long Beach, or cruised with someone that did? What was your or their experience? CCL says that this is fine. I'm just curious, since I'm cruising with someone in a couple of weeks who will only have this.

Mexico or Canada?

Mexico needs passport & green card.

If CCL says it's okay, GET IT IN WRITING, with names of the rep and contact info.

Thought that I would let interested folks know that he got back into the country just fine with his ID and green card. Be sure that the name matches exactly on both. People of Spanish descent sometimes have 2 last names, so he had to change his ID to match his green card.
