Boyer lift rental

Anyone have experience with renting a hoyer lift for a cruise out of Galveston? Special Needs at Sea and Scootaround seem to be the most popular ones. Thought I could get a greater response posting here than on the Disabled Cruising board.

Those are the only two companies authorized to bring items on board the ship.

Both SpecialNeedsarSea and Scooteraround rent Hoyer lifts. Note NCL only allows SpecialNeedsatSea.

Keep in mind that Hoyer is a brand name of lift. They may or may not be the brand that these companies rent. We bought our own lift to use for travel. The two best ones on the market (which can also be used as your lift at home) are the Hoyer Advance and the Molift Smart.
