Marella Cruises announces that Marella Explorer 2 will be an adults-only ship.

It is good that they are thinking that some people want to have a different holiday. I have never been disturbed by children on a cruise but son 2 who is a teacher did say he would enjoy a chilled out week without children.

I like the idea of some adult only cruises - don't get me wrong we have grand children but they would never be allowed to run riot anywhere, whereas some people don't seem to keep their kids under control.

With regards to all ships being AI, not so sure about this. We aren't big drinkers so would be paying more than usual no doubt. Also I have concerns for poor countries including the Caribbean islands - we always have snacks/drinks ashore in the local bars but I feel that many people will only drink on the ships and this could affect the locals who depend on us
