We have enjoyed several visits to London before and after cruises.

We love the city.

I thought I would share photos.

Now as a couple from the States we do appreciate the information in terms of which way to look.

As many times as we have visited Harrods it's always on our list for a return visit.

We love to walk. On this day we walked over to Wellington Arch and then over to Buckingham Palace.

The city has so many iconic sites. Even hotels.

Beautiful parks.

So many memorials and tributes.

Back to Harrods again. LOL.

If you do your research and then plan what you want to do using guidebooks and maps you can do so much on your own. We like to stay at locations that make getting around easy and there are always taxis and the tube (underground) to use.

We do a lot by foot.

Lots of wonderful museums and the majority are for free.
