Zuiderdam SS vs BB stateroom

Recommended Posts

We are on the "Z" in July and we were just offered an upgrade to SS (we booked a BB) can anyone give us suggestions on if we should take the upgrade or stay in our assigned room (5061, middle of ship). If we take the upgrade does anyone have a good spot on the ship that we should get assigned???

Please help, not sure what to do?????

TAKE IT!!!! IF it's not too late & been given to someone else.

The SS category, no matter where it is located is a better cabin for several reasons. You get additional amenities that are not available in the BB room. (Bath robes to use, extra luxury towels, personalized stationary.) The room itself has a full size whirlpool bath & an additional shower stall. The room is bigger, too. 384 sq ft compared to 254. The normal price difference per person is about $500 more.

The only drawback is that you will be so spoiled that you'll never want to go back into the lower category cabins.

I agree with Kat. Take the upgrade! We were upgraded to an SS on the Zuiderdam last November. It was wonderful! Lots of room as Kat mentioned, a sofa, and two sinks in the bathroom. Veranda has 4 chairs and a table so there is a lot of room out there to relax and sip your favorite libation watching the waves roll by. We were in Room 8097 which was in the latter half of the ship, but not in the back. The ride was pretty smooth. So, enjoy that upgrade!!!
