Partially obstructed view

I have booked a cabin with a balcony on Carnival Spirit. The lady from Carnival who booked our cruise said we had a partially obstructed view. She said if we stand up we can see but sitting down we cannot. I have looked at the deck plans and it shows life boats outside or under (not sure which) of our balcony. Any ideas what our obstruction will be. She did not mention the life boats.

Sounds like you booked a 7A. Obstructed balcony.

There will be lifeboats where you will not be able to look DOWN into the water. When looking down you will see the boats. But looking out.. you will have a view.
