NCL Epic, Carnival Magic, RC Rhapsody?

Hi - Looking for a spring break cruise. Kids are 8 and 10. We've been on Carnival and RC, never on NCL. I'm not sure what to expect with the NCL Epic - do most activities cost extra? Also, any recommendations between these 3 ships?

We have been on Grandeur - sister ship to Rhapsody. We loved the ship when our son was 3 and 5, but moved up to the bigger ships afterwards because we were worried that he would be bored. The kids club is tiny, and there is not a lot else to do. I think mini golf and pool, but no sports court, no flow rider, no ice skating, no water slides, etc.
