Cape Liberty Parking ramp

We are taking a Celebrity Summit cruise with two children 8 & 10 in early May and would like to park at the Cape Liberty parking facility.

How does one get from the parking ramp to the cruise terminal with luggage?

Can I drop off passengers and luggage at the cruise terminal and then go park the car?

You can drop off passengers and luggage and then go park the car. The parking garage is steps from the terminal and has elevators. You have to drive by the drop off to get to the garage, so you can decide what you want to do when you get to the port.

Hi, actually as you drive up to the port you are directed to pull up to an empty slot to drop off the luggage (keep your carry ons). Your passengers can also get out or travel with you as you continue to the parking garage. Two of us usually go to the garage so that at least one of us may remember where we parked. LOL You then walk to the check in area. On the way you will pass bathrooms. There are also bathrooms just inside the terminal. If you have time and it is nice take time to walk over to the tear drop memorial that was given to the USA from Russia (officially titled "To the Struggle Against World Terrorism" or "The Memorial at Harbor View Park". ) You could also visit at the end of the cruise, dropping our luggage at the car and walking back. You can drive to it before you go and drop off our luggage. I do not know how difficult it is to drive over after you pick up your car. There is a small parking lot and porta potties. I have found Cape Liberty to be one of the easiest embarkation/disembarkation terminals.

Another comment - you will get a parking ticket when you go in the garage. Keep it with you. When you disembark you will have to pay at an automated machine to get an exit ticket. The machine takes credit cards and cash, but no $100 bills.
