Pretty much the same distance as one side of USA to the other
Wow, that's a big island! ;)

 

For others looking at this thread (but not for the OP, whose cruise is next month) the numbers are slightly complicated by daylight saving time issues. It may be worth looking at the information for Melbourne (which does DST) and Perth (which does not).
