GPS Luggage Tracker

Has anyone used one of these? If so we would really appreciate knowing what brand you

bought. We have Apple I phones.

Whatever brand you purchase, make sure it does not have lithium batteries. If non-replaceable lithium batteries you will not be able to use it on most airlines. If removable lithium batteries you will be able to use it by taking the batteries in your carry-on but this negates the whole idea of the GPS tracker. If non-lithium, plan on replacing the batteries fairly frequently because they won't last for long periods of time reliably and this is what you want GPS for. The luggage companies making these products have been thrown into turmoil by the recent aviation rules.

John - thank you for that explanation. It made me think twice about getting one of the devices. I know that you can't put lithium batteries in checked luggage but didn't think about the tracking device.
