Seattle Hotel Near King Street Station & Vancouver Near Pacific Central Station

We are looking for a Seattle hotel near King Street Station for July 2018. We are leaving for Vancouver via Amtrak at 7pm. We'll arrive the morning before so would like a hotel not far from King Street Station where we can spend one night and then store our luggage while we sight see the next day before taking the train at 7pm. My thought is this is the best option with a 7pm train departure but would appreciate any ideas you would like to share. Would like to keep it under $200 if possible.

Also need a hotel near Vancouver Pacific Central Station for one night...arriving after 11 pm and then leaving on a cruise the next day.

Have Choice Privileges and Wyndham points as well as some others but will consider all options.

Honestly I'd worry more about being able to use your points/keeping in-budget than proximity to either station. We've had good rates at Hotel Five, which only cost us $10 incl a very generous tip to the cabbie to get to King Street - but even coming from Seattle Center proper hotels you're looking at $15 for the cab.

In Vancouver, there's nowhere walkable easily from Pacific Central that isn't a literal fleapit or a hostel, so you're cabbing regardless. July your best option downtown under $200 is the YWCA Hotel - which is excellent, go see reviews on Tripadvisor, Expedia etc. - or getting lucky with a non-refundable sale rate or 'sight unseen' bid. If you're talking USD rather than CAD you'll have more flexibility, but you simply will not find a better combo of price and convenience than the YWCA anywhere in the city. It's only a 5 min cab ride away that late at night - but even the most distant downtown hotel is probably 12mins away as the station is just outside the downtown core.

Factoring in points collection/spending you may find the Comfort Inn, Days Inn, Ramada Limited or Ramada Downtown are of value to you, but they're all in older buildings with less-than ideal soundproofing - I'd bring ear plugs especially for the Ramada Downtown and Comfort Inn as they're both impacted by late-night noise from folks leaving clubs & pubs in the wee small hours.

Thanks for the help. Went with the Hilton Doubletree near SEA-TAC and the Ramada (free with points) in Vancouver. Glad that's done. I can't believe how many hours I spent pouring over the options for two hotels! :)
