Japan cruise suggestions Princess

Looking at 7-9 day Japan cruise on Princess. Help me choose. Typically I select most ports as to narrow my process. Any month I should avoid? Thanks.

Golden Week. End of April/ first of May. Great if you live there. Miserable as a cruise passenger only in port a few hours. Peak Sakura season unfortunately happens around that time usually( by design)

We picked Apr 13-23 on Millennium which is a busy time in most port cities depending where you are because of

cherry blossom and flower season.So if you want to avoid the crowds, you might avoid that slot.

If you want to avoid the large fall crowds, skip Nov -Dec.
