Thinking of taking one of the above tours. We are more interested in the cultural and historical part of Tahiti than the black pearl side. Which of the above tours would you recommend.

Thank you in advance.

I have been coming since the 1970’s, One element is what are you going to see on other islands. Many islands have rock platforms that where used. If you are going to see them on another tour you might not to see them on this tour. If you can find tour with some one who knows archaeology, then I would go with them.

To me, Tahiti isn’t a really exciting island. My favorite things were the museums and the botanical garden. But understand that these are not large and I have met people who were disappointed in them.

The activity I really live on any of the FP island is listening to the singing in church.

We will be in Papeete overnight, we don’t like lots of historical sites, prefer shopping, beautiful sites, seeing the homes etc, would you recommend doing the East or West coast tour?

Thanks in advance

Wendy
