Things to do in Genoa on Christmas Eve

We will be in Genoa on the MSC Meraviglia on Dec 24th it is just myself and my husband ( we left the kids at home)This is the only port we did not get a shore excursion for I am hoping there will be some things to do around the port area can anyone tell me what options there are or that they have done in the past when in this port? I also understand this will be Christmas Eve and there could be a lack of options open has anyone been in this port on Christmas Eve if so what was open or what did you do?
