Wifi for laptop (carnival cruise)

I want to bring my laptop to edit my cruise videos. I am sailing on the Carnival Dream and I purchased to social wifi package. Will that be enough to edit my video and camera footage?:confused::confused: :confused:

The social wifi package only gives you access to social media sites. So unless you are putting your video there, it won't be sufficient.

Carnival offers other packages besides Social Media. Just keep in mind its a satellite connection. While usable, its definitely not like you have at home.

You don't need any Internet connection to edit stuff on your laptop. The connection will allow you to post things, but honestly almost all Internet is too slow to post very much.

If you're looking to upload video, the social package will not do that. Their standard plan allows it, but the signal is very poor. You would want the new internet service on the Vista or Horizon.
