Distance from Port to city

Does anyone know where I can find a list of distances from (Asian) ports to the city? For example, I think I've read that it would take about 3 hours to get from the port to Beijing. Just wondering if this info is in one document or page. Thanks!

No - not all cruiselines use the same docks/ports, either. And even the same cruiseline might use different docks for different trips. You can use google maps to find out how far Tianjin is from Beijing, but if you want to know how far the "port" is from Bangkok, we need to know if you'll be at Khlong Toei or Laem Chabang .....That's 20 minutes or 3+ hours.....

Port info on where you dock, currency, what to do, see etc can be found here on cruise critic in the RESEARCH section. Top of the page. Use the drop down to find Destinations.

Also on many other cruising websites eg whatsinport which we find very useful.

Not the most helpful as, for instance, for Bangkok, only mentions one port......You still need to know what port the ship you'd be on would use.

By using the official port website or the cruise calendar link on sites such as whatsinport or cruisemapper (or others) and checking the month and date, the OP would be able to see if his/her ship is listed for Laem Chabang. If unlisted and the OP is sailing on a small ship, he/she might assume they will dock in the city itself, but to be certain, perhaps the cruise line could be contacted or other members on the Roll Call might know.

I thought the Destinations section and other sites might be helpful for most ports around the world as the OP is looking for info on more than one port.
