Great pictures.

Have been on the White Pass trains a few times -- several different versions.

Love man and his best friend picture.

Am posting this picture of the President's house and church in Iceland, snapped from a moving coach. Perhaps a bit better with the sky largely cropped out, but noteworthy as it looks almost more like a painting than a photograph.

Agree, nice photo under difficult photographic circumstances.

Here are some photos from an Irish Sea cruise last summer. Posting these specifically as they were taken from the ship, so views unavailable from land.

Top: last view of Cork sailing out of town.

Center:  Cork "skyline"

Bottom:  Looked out my cabin window as we approached this mini-fort on the way into Cork, determined immediately to snap a pic!

My mom and I took a cruise around Iceland the summer before last. We went on excursions each day but one, heading into the small town center to look around a bit instead at one port. Took a shortcut back to the ship down a lane, where we were puzzled at seeing a statue of a very large dog on a table? Then, it scratched its leg, and resumed this still pose, like an Icelandic "Tableau Vivant". When I asked my mom whether I should take some shots of this, she replied, "Yes!!!"
