Gieranger waterfall ?

Recommended Posts

She can easily see a pretty waterfall right there in town. I know she can’t do the steps, but it is still pretty to see.

If it’s Seven Sisters, she can see that from the ship and it’s very pretty!

Check this (small) bus tour. It brings you to 3 awesome viewpoints and at the last one -eaglesbend - you will be close to the seven sisters waterfall.https://www.geirangerfjord.no/panorama-exclusive-bus

We did the equivalent of this on a private tour in a car. We had a 2 year old and 6 year old, and were absolutely fine at all the sights. It'll be a nice visit for your mom. Also, if you are stopping at Olden the Loen skylift is completely wheelchair accessible.

I wonder if it is Storfossen:

I didn't go here as I was on an all day excursion but I know several who did walk there.

I believe it is the Storfossen. Easy walk from the ship to the bottom of the stairs. 327 steps to the top or you can skip the steps and walk up the road to the hotel at the top of the falls. Beautiful view of the fjord below from the top.

  • 2 weeks later...

As you depart try to find a spot near the aft of the ship and catch a number of waterfalls as you sail out. The Seven Sisters is just one of many.

It might be a little windy on the bow that's why I suggest the aft. And I thought the views were better too. Tried every angle I could.

Enjoy!!!
