'Legally. yes there is. It's 1 ltr of alcohol.. (in the Caribbean, you are allowed an additional ltr if it's made in a Caribbean country) per person over 21.

You can bring back more, but you will pay tariff and excise tax, based on the state where you arrive back into the U.S.

Some agents let you thru with additional bottles, some don't.

I highly recommend going to John Watlings distillery. They make their run on the island (free tour) and don’t export so this isn’t the same old stuff you get every else. Very high quality rum!
