IAH Thanksgiving Day

We are flying to IAH on Thanksgiving day this year for our cruise departing on the Friday after. Will the food and shops all be open at the airport on a holiday? We are staying at the Marriott at the airport and will not have a car, so hoping to be able to eat and do a little shopping at the airport.

If the airport is open the shops, restaurants will be open. FYI, most of them are in the secure area, so you'll need to do all your shopping, eating before you get your luggage.

Everything is open. The food at the Marriott is good, rooms have been updated. It's a 40 year old building, so don't expect a miracle, but you only need to go to the lower level and ride the train right to the hotel.
