At last - a bit of praise for Marella Customer Support

We recently booked a cruise and noticed that Marella were offering 100 Pounds discount - however we found that this was not available for 'Cruise Only' passengers.

 

I emailed the TUI Directors Office just to ask exactly why 'Cabin Only' clients were penalised (we do not live in the UK so a full package is not appropriate). I received an automated reply saying that I would get a response within 14 days.

 

14 days came and went so I assumed that my question was being ignored. However on Friday (day 18) we heard that a TUI agent had tried to contact us by phone but had been unsuccessful so had sent us an email; the email said that they had refunded 100 Pounds to the card we booked with.

 

We hear a lot about unhelpful Customer Service from Marella - have experienced it myself - but this was a nice surprise and the agent very helpful.
