Cuba overnite? Yes or no?

We have been looking at a few cruises for 2019 mainly thru carnival and ncl. Is booking a cruise that ports in Havana overnight worth it? Some cruises leave at 2 or 6 am the next day. I think it would be great to stay ashore through the evening but unaware of what cruisers options are after excursions as well as safe nite life options near port. Wish the overnight stays departed much later on the 2nd day.

What has your experience been and what would you recomend?

I did an overnight on RC. I say yes. We docked on Thursday at 8 am and left the next day around 5 pm. Two full days. We just wondered around Cuba looking for a bar with music in the evening. A lot of people did the Tropicana excursion in the evening. We were 4 women and never felt threatened or scared walking around at night. completely safe. You should look at the cruises with RC that have two full days in Cuba. And still that wasn't enough time for me to explore Cuba. I'm going back on another overnight cruise.

Do you have to do a tour the next day also to get you 4 hrs in of interaction
