Which cruises have least kids?

Itineraries longer than 7 days have far fewer kids.

Short cruises to the Bahamas often have many young adults who enjoy a lot of partying...sometimes these are called 'booze cruises'.

Celebrity, HAL, Princess, Cunard. But Carnival is a family line and will always have kids.

Thanks.

I was going to go on Carnival but now will go with one you mention.

Doing first cruise and alone, want to go on a dive in Nassau.

Have to check on dive shops in Nassau.

Starting with a short 3 day

Thanks again

On a three day cruise, unless you go in the middle of the week, and during the school year, you are likely to have more kids, regardless of cruise line. Carnival may have a bit more, but expect plenty of kids with any cruise line on a three day cruise, particularly if two of those days are Saturday and Sunday. I'm not trying to discourage you from booking with someone other than Carnival, just trying to be helpful.

Three-day cruises are weekend cruises, so they will always have kids. Four-day cruises are midweek, so if you go during the school year (and not during an obvious break) those short cruises are the most likely to NOT have kids.

Apparently you just want to go diving in the Bahamas. It might just be cheaper to fly there, you don't indicate where you would be coming from, but you would have to fly to the port anyway, get a hotel in a good diving area and you would be good to go, no worries about kids.

Carnival has an adult only Serenity area on their ships (except Conquest and Triumph). No one under 21 is supposed to be allowed in Serenity. If you hang out there while on the ship, and then dive while in port, you shouldn't be too bothered by kids. Waiting to cruise after school starts back up in the fall would also mean fewer kids on the ship on a short 3 night cruise.

I completely agree, but if you do book it, book privately. Carnival dives are terrible, too many people, not enough dive masters, and mixing advanced with beginners. I only go private now, many years ago on Carnival there was a huge guy on our dive. Couldn't find a BC big enough, had to use one of those airline seat belt extenders. He was down to 1000 lbs in 15 minutes and ruined the dive for everyone.

All lines, even the luxury lines have kids. The luxury lines have the fewest number of children. The longer the cruise the fewer number of kids, but short cruises (3 - 4) days during the middle of the week during the school year are relatively child free.

Seems like overkill to take a cruise just for a diving trip—— double cost for single —short cruise mostly partiers —not worth the money — diving not that great there, Bahamas in Atlantic Ocean not Caribbean, ships loaded with kids in August

Actually, you should check out the Bahamas Paradise Cruises out of West Palm Beach. They are two night, but you can get combine with a night or two at a resort in Bahamas and take a different ship back. It is super cheap, and probably not many kids at all. They have two ships with one running almost every day.

You could try the Big Nude Boat cruise on Carnival Sunshine, Jan 26 - Feb 3, 2019. No one under 21 -Guaranteed!;)

There is a couple here on CC that posted they take nudist, swinger, and LGBT cruises. NO KIDS.

And you do not have to participate in the other activities.

There is a big difference between Nudists and Swingers.

Diver here, when are planning diving in Nassau? Winter water is freezing in Nassau.

Absurd: sea water temps in Nassau ranges from 70 to 75 - which is about what the range is in July and August from Long Island, NY  up past Cape Cod, MA- where millions enjoy swimming.  If the air temp drops below 70, as often happen in Nassau in winter, you can be chilly getting out of the water —- but it is fine for diving, even without a wet suit.
