Pensioncruiser Posted April 24, 2018 #26 Share Posted April 24, 2018 They would not give us evidence of the time door was opened on our flight but they had to give it to the CEDR which should be the same for you [emoji3] bottom line CEDR are independent and know all the regulations. Atlantic Voyagers Posted September 25, 2018 #27 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Anyone on Delayed TUI Flight TOM637 From Montego Bay Jamaica on 27th March 2018. Return flight from TUI Cruise “Cuban Fusion” on Marella Discovery 2. Please note we have now received full Compensation (€600) per passenger. Thanks to CEDR the flight mediation organisation. CEDR found in our favour and ordered TUI to pay out. We have now received full payment. Please share and help anyone else on this flight to claim as well. TUI refused our claim but CEDR were straight forward to deal with. Please let us know how you get on.
WeeCountyMan Posted September 26, 2018 #28 Share Posted September 26, 2018 The aircraft would have to lose fuel to land, hence the 1 hour 20 mins before landing at Gatwick. It would only land immediately if it was an extreme emergency. Would a cracked window not be considered an extreme emergency ?
nancyneptune Posted September 26, 2018 #29 Share Posted September 26, 2018 If Tui turn down this claim or any other regarding flight delays use Resolver. ( Google it ) It's free to use and gets great results.
okavango Posted September 26, 2018 #30 Share Posted September 26, 2018 If Tui turn down this claim or any other regarding flight delays use Resolver. ( Google it ) It's free to use and gets great results. The ADR CEDR route is better as resolver has no powers to do anything and can merely end up as correspondence ping pong. A CEDR decision is binding on TUI
Atlantic Voyagers Posted September 26, 2018 #31 Share Posted September 26, 2018 We don’t need to debate this. I posted that we have succeeded in getting compensation from TUI. CEDR found that the reasons / excuses TUI gave for not paying to be unfounded. The sole reason for posting is to encourage anyone on that flight TOM637 from Montego Bay on March 27 this year to also make a claim.
