Recommended arrival time at SMF (Sacramento, CA)

I have a Monday, 8 AM flight (8:10 AM) leaving from SMF airport. They are advising that, thanks to the TSA and it's around peak flying, that I arrive around 2 hours early. :eek: No wonder I don't like 6 AM flights.

Is this reality or what?

I would be there 90 minutes early.

I've found some of the smaller airports (Santa Barbra:mad:) have more aggressive TSA agents.
