Port Canaveral

Are there any big bridges the ship cruises under. I have always cruised from Tampa and about 2 hours after we leave the dick we passed under I think it was the sky bridge it was great

In a word, no. Open all the way to the ocean which is not very far at all.

No. There are a couple of bridges that you'll drive over on your way to the port, but none that the ship will go under.

That's the reason why only certain ships can sail from Tampa. They need to be able to get under the bridge.

similar issue in New Orl' .... big ships can only go 'so far'

technically an issue in NYC too ... 'cept no ship has been so big as to bump the Verrazano yet ...

I cruised the Wonder on a Pacific Coast cruise and it went under the Golden Gate Bridge, which was AWESOME!! Also on the Wonder, went under the Bridge of the Americas while doing the Panama Canal and that also was very exciting.

And, of course out of NYC, you sail past the Statue of Liberty and.under the Verrazano Bridge.
