Cruise ends and overnights in Hong Kong - can I fly out at night?

Trying to figure out a flight back to the US from Hong Kong after our cruise on the Millennium this Fall. It ends in Hong Kong and overnights there, so is it possible to disembark after dinner to go to the airport? We did this on NCL in Papeete without any issue, so wondering if we could do the same in Hong Kong. Thanks!

I did the same December 2016.

Just notify Celebrity in advance.

On our last cruise with Celebrity, there where some couples who left earlier for a charge.

But why would you want you miss out a day in Hong Kong?

Having DimSum before noon? Walking Nathan Road and\or Harbour Cit with all the shops?

Use Star Ferry to go to Hong Kong Island and enjoy the fabulous view from the Peak? And if you stay another night (which we recommend), enjoy the lightshow from Kowloon and have a drink in the Intercontinental with the marvellous view:

We did exactly this in Buenos Aires in December. You have to let the Front desk know (either by direct contact or on the disembarkation form).

They load the information into the computer so when you go to disembark they take your sea pass from you.

Depending on accommodations your butler or room attendant will pick up your luggage and escort you off the ship. It was very well handled and very painless.

Looks like you can but that would be a bummer. I'm sure there is a reason but I wouldn't want to cut any of that trip short. Heck, we'd add extra days for sure. Going that far to go home early, my wife would shoot me :)

have a great time.
