SHUTTLES/TAXIS/UBER/ETC from Sydney Airport to Cruise Terminal (royal carribean)

What is the best way to get to the cruise terminal from the airport and vice versa? Open to shuttle companies, taxis, or any advice you can give.

All of those services available to/from Sydney Airport, however, we always use the Airport Train which goes Circular Quay in about 18 minutes.. It is a short walk from station to the Overseas Passenger Terminal from where RCI sail..

also, can you purchase tickets when we land or does it have to be in advance? Sorry this is our first trip to Australia and we are trying now to wing everything !

Can buy paper ticket at the airport station.. :) If staying Sydney may be advantage in getting an OPAL CARD, which can be loaded with credit for all transport needs..

We always get a taxi. The cost would be around $50-$55. It is door to door and we don't have to handle luggage on the off the train, then down the street to the cruise terminal. It is a little bit dearer than paying for two people on the train, but not much in comparison with the total cost of the trip. Uber would be an excellent alternative.

It very much depends on how much luggage you have. If you travel light then the train is the fastest way to get to Circular Quay, otherwise a taxi or Uber would be best.

There are 2 cruise terminals ,circular quay is the main one.smaller ships sometimes us white bay cruise terminal.

Don't use airport shuttles they have a bad reputation in every way.

Train about $18 each, Taxi about $60. I don’t use Uber so can’t say. Train has about 200 metre walk from station to Dock

So comes down to do you want to drag luggage on and off train and how many of you there are.

I don’t think RCCL use White Bay so was assuming OPT

We used the train last time,we like being independent, trains are very regular. No problem with the flat walk to the cruise terminal if you have the 4 wheel suitcases. By the way the wife & I are old age pensioners in our late 70s.:D

Agreed, train is pretty straightforward for OPT.
