Pride of America - Mattress Comfort

Will be sailing on POA in August 2018 & was wondering how comfortable are the beds. We have a balcony room. Does NCL offer anything like a mattress topper?

POA was refurbished in 2016 just after we were on her so I don't know if they replaced the mattresses but I do know they offer toppers.

We found the mattresses to be comfortable on our trip this spring. I didn't hear any complaints about the beds from our travel companions either and we had a group of 9 people.

We were on the POA last month. The mattresses were very comfortable and supportive. I have a bad back and will wake with a stiff back if I don't sleep on a good mattress. Never had a problem on the ship.

Yes, you can ask for a mattress topper. But they refer to them as an egg crate. Just had to ask for one on the Jade which was refurbished recently. Mattress was like a rock.
