Silver Shadow Veranda Suite: Which would you choose?

We are booking a cruise late, so we have the options of booking either 642 or 659. Wondering which to choose: 642 is above the casino/bar and 659 is right by the elevator/stair area.

Which do you think would be the better site for some peace and quiet?

Thank your thoughts.

I’d go with 642. Silversea casinos are rarely noisy and the bar connected to it is also relatively quiet and not one with live entertainment.

Thanks again, Randy. Really appreciate all your help!

As a very slight aside ... what is the ‘void’ shown on the deck plan?

The one opposite 516/518, 616/618, 714/716 and 812/814?

We have a suite booked slap bang opposite whatever it is .... someone suggested a ‘ready use’ locker/ storage room and further stated that it wouldn’t cause any noise problems.

Those look like standard service areas, mostly for the housekeeping staff. We’ve been close to those on other ships and I can’t say I’ve noticed noise issues.
