Auckland Suggestions

we will fly out of Auckland the day after our cruise ends. It is a 6 am flight so would like recommendations for an airport hotel for that night. Also suggestions for transportation there from the ship and sightseeing suggestions for that dai in Auckland after disembarkation.

We fly annually from NZ to Europe and always stay overnight before the flight at the Jet Park Hotel. http://www.jetpark.co.nz

It's a 10 minute ride from the airport and they have a free dedicated shuttle bus. They are always very friendly and efficient and I can highly recommend them.

I used a company called Jayride to find our transfers last year from the airport to the port; they offer shared and private transfers from several different suppliers at very reasonable rates https://booking.jayride.com

Just a reminder that if your international flight departs at 06.00, then you will need to be checking-in - as stated by the airport - " at least 2 hours before departure", so no later than 04.00.
