I would think it’s a free meal in one of the specialty restaurants. These restaurants are not part of your cruise cost. I’m currently researching the MSC Seaside, I don’t find their website easy to navigate though. I think I will call a representative when I’m ready to book. Enjoy your cruise.

Complimentary dining is usually the main dining room dining, that is included in your cruise fare. Also complimentary would be lido deck food and if there is hamburger place on the deck that should be included.

The specialty dining venues are ala carte or, like the steakhouse, your pay a set price and then dine off the menu.
