Has anyone played Pickleball on a cruise ship??

No idea what Pickleball is.

You might want to give your posts a title rather than your screen name. Thus, people who have info for you will be more likely to answer.

Have not seen any pickleball, but have seen some Pickled People.

Looks like it's sort of a cross between tennis and ping-pong. I think maybe the court would be a bit large for the space available on a cruise ship. It does look like fun though.

I have not seen Pickle Ball on any of the cruise ships we have sailed on.

I have played Paddle Tennis though.

There was a thread about this on HAL a couple of years ago.

Pickleball is not on HAL ships.

It's played on a tennis court around here with different lines drawn, so it lends itself to cruise ships. Have never noticed it though. That does not mean it's not available.

Just completed the EURODAM Panama cruise (Oct - Nov 2017) where 6 to 16 of us played the fastest growing sport in the world, PICKLEBALL, on 12 different days notwithstanding wind challenges.

Slowly, more and more ships will or should be promoting this most enjoyable activity...

Am booked next on the VOLENDAM for their March Asia cruise - can anyone tell me it they have PICKLEBALL lines, a net and equipment for use on their sports deck?

I did want to mention that on Crystal Ocean Vessels they have Paddle Tennis and one time a couple put tape down on the decking to mark it for Pickle Ball.

It is very popular in our community.

No, I've never played it, but I saw some people playing on a Princess cruise a couple years ago.

Most excellent sport! We were wondering about the affect of the wind or did you only play while in port?

Lots of folks in my town play...so it is popular and gaining in popularity.
