Anywhere to rent snorkel gear?

I have seen a few posters say that they snorkeled on the beach right off Margaritaville on their own (not part of a tour). I don't own snorkel gear and don't really want to buy it. Is there a place near the cruise terminal where I can rent snorkel gear without having to pay for a tour/excursion?

Yes, there's a snorkel shack on or near the beach...or at least there was one the last time I visited. A kid told me he had rented mask, snorkel and fins there and I'd swear he said it cost $10, but that almost seems TOO good a price.
