Quest

Quest is an adult scavenger hunt held late at night. It is held in a large venue and passengers divide up into teams and (try to) present the items the Cruise Director requests. It can be PG, R, or even X rated, depending on alcohol consumption by contestants. :o

You can also just sit and observe. You do not have to play. :)

This link will take you to the RCI Board:

Keith

Just to confirm for the OP, while the link and redirect is helpful, Karen's answer is correct and complete. Perhaps as easyboy as indicated, more discussion of experiences will take place from those who have played Quest on the RCI boards, the OP's answer was provided.

I will add that Quest is a lot of fun and well worth attending - or in participating!

Nobody forewarned us, we thought it would be something like a ship-wide scavenge hunt (treasure hunt), following-up on cryptic clues.

Errrrrr, no, not quite. ;)

Very much as Karen described.

We were quite disgusted.:(

We had a few drinks.

We joined in.

We had a great laugh,

Even though I nearly strangled myself putting on a complete stranger's bra. :D

If you go along, leave your kids and your inhibitions behind.

JB :)

What is Quest on Royal Caribbean?

Not intending to be in any way critical and just asking, but in your signature you show what typically could be interpreted as an RCI Crown & Anchor Diamond tier symbol and also show a number of RCI cruises as well. Quest has been on every RCI ship we've cruised on for more than 10 years. As you seem to be an experienced RCI cruiser, curious that you have not been aware of Quest previously.

As mentioned, it is a lot of fun and IMO worth experiencing at least one time. Enjoy your cruise.

Would have enjoyed seeing this in the final "walk of shame"......:D

See above in red.

Hence the "adults only" warning in the Cruise Compass. But it tends to bring out the youth in all of us.......:)

I have attended a few of those Quest's, and they are hilarious...but don't research it too much....it is more fun when you are 'surprised' than know what is coming...;)

That said, it is too bad that some "cheat" by bringing "extra" item's, that past experience tells them to bring...:)

They've been changing the format and "Quests" on a few of our recent cruises in an effort to derail the repeaters with their "stash". But a few things never change and are still a lot of fun.
