Current status of wifi/cell service at Amber Cove?

Could someone who has visited recently comment please.

We were there in March and wifi connection was poor to non existent in the pool area.

We were told we had to buy a drink to get the code ( ok, no problem). Except it did not work. Server put in another code. Worked very slowly for about 5 minutes at a time, then disconnected and it took forever to get back on.

Has anything changed?

How reliable is cell service there? I have an international plan with AT & T and the Dominican Republic is in their coverage area, but I am thinking it is probably spotty.

the wifi was essentially useless while i was there at the beginning of November 2017. It said i was connected but nothing would send/receive as i was using it to iMessage my husband. Maybe it was too slow ? But it wasn't like i was downloading a movie just trying to send a message.

I was there a couple weeks ago. T-Mobile service was fine for me.

I was there recently and had the same experience with wifi that didn't work. Some said they could send one email. I never got connected. Great day though.

I was staying in one of the hillside cabanas this week and even after a staff member came to take a look, we were never able to connect to Wi-Fi. Seemed like a system-wide outage.
