Star: Slots & ATM's

Does anyone know approximate hours of the casino AND on another thread it was mentioned that $200.00 was the most you could take out of ATM. Is that $200.00 per day or the whole cruise as I would think it would depend on your own bank. Thanks for any help. Do they have penny and nickel slots or nickel and higher only

We've been on Star twice and yes, they have penny slots (but sometimes the minimum bet is 30 to 60 cents).

We used our ATM twice and were able up to withdraw $400; Convenience fee was charge plus your bank charges a fee....

But you can also charge to your room but NCL charges a convenience fee (which is comparable to ATM withdrawal).

We now just charge to the room directly and if you have a win streak and play alot (ALOT!) the casino convenience fee is waived - but you should ask on the last night of the cruise.

The casino hours are based upon "at sea" hours. Usually open about 30 minutes after leaving port and they usually stay open until 1 hour before arriving at next port. That is to say the slots are open, but the table games close when action slows, which is usually around 2am. I've seen some table games open till 4am, but that is rare.
