The Fun Researcher Posted April 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2018 We put a refundable deposit down on a March 2019 cruise, and are strongly considering the 5 night specialty dining package for us all. I will know well ahead of time (more than 90 days) if we are going to cancel the cruise or go as planned. If I cancel the cruise 90+ days out, I assume the specialty dining is refunded as well? I just want to make sure, because prices are only going to go up between now and March 2019 for dining, so I figure I would rather purchase now than later. Thanks, Dan
Clarea Posted April 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2018 Anytime you cancel a cruise, you automatically get a refund of all your pre-cruise purchases.

The Fun Researcher Posted April 21, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted April 21, 2018 So my bookings have shown up but it must be too early to book dining packages. It says I can't purchase them yet. Any idea how many months before a cruise they open up for purchase? Thx, Dan

Thx, Dan It's fairly random, but to give you some perspective, I was able to book a dining package in February for my cruise in November.

Ourusualbeach Posted April 21, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 21, 2018 Timing really does vary. I booked our dining package for our March 2019 Symphony cruise 6 months ago.
