Hair Dryer on Viking

Hello, I tried to search for this but did not see anything current for my question. Ladies, how is the hair dryer? I medium length hair and really don't want to bring one if the supplied one is ok. Thank you for your help.

Have not traveled with Viking, but have traveled with 3 other river cruise companies and they all have the same kind. The small hotel style. I also have longer hair and just take into stride that it is going to take a little longer drying it after washing. I have also never found an outlet for a personal dryer in the bathrooms. The closest outlet is outside the door near the floor or at the desk in the cabin. Hope this helps.

I have been on 9 Viking cruises and have medium length hair and found their hair dryers just as good as my dual voltage one. It does takes a little longer to dry. As Cole indicated, there is no outlet in the bathroom for hairdryers only mens shavers. I usually sit on the edge of the bed so that I can see into a mirror while styling. It is wise for the women to take their showers first and blowing their hair while the men can be shaving.

Even if your hair dryer is dual voltage, frequently when you switch to 220 you don't have the same options that you have at 110. And if it isn't dual voltage, then you will need a converter as well as a plug adapter. I would just live with what is available. (However, take that with a grain of salt; I wear my hair very short, and it dries in about 5 minutes without doing anything. I just brush and go.)
