Boston Hotel - Pre-Cruise

Does anyone have any experience with TrinityReservations when booking a hotel pre-cruise? I found a hotel right outside of Boston that includes parking for the week, and it's about half the price of other websites. Wondering if there is some kind of catch.

I was looking at the Holiday Inn Express in Saugus. However, now that I've looked around more, I'm finding similar deals on other websites. I was just surprised because it was only $150/night including parking for the week.

Trinityreservations is a reputable faith based company that we recommend all the time at Newark Airport for Cape Liberty. Are you talking about the Holiday Inn Express in Saugus for $158 tax included with 14 days parking? This is a legitimate offer, but it's not for a hotel located in downtown Boston.

Where exactly are you driving in from? Saugus is about 8 miles NE of Logan Airport, if you're coming from the west or south, it's on the opposite side of town.

The offer assumes you would take the free hotel shuttle to Logan Airport and then a $25 cab ride to the port or the free Silver Line to the port (includes a free transfer at World Trade Center indoor station - more details can be provided - Silver Line coming back is $2.75/pp)

Check the final cost offered by other websites - Trinity is the only site I have found that quotes tax included. Also read the hotel reviews. Most of the hotels in Quincy or Dorchester are 2-2.5* hotels.

Another strategy is to stay more outside Boston, drive to the port, and pay the $147 to park.

Thanks for the info. Yes, that is the hotel I was looking at. We live in Western Ma, so we only have about a 3 hour drive, but I prefer to arrive the night before to cut down on stress the day of the cruise. I would most likely skip the Logan Airport shuttle, and just take an Uber from the hotel to the ship.

I would drive to the Sturbridge area and get a hotel (lastminutetravel.com), drive into the port after 9 am, and park at the port for $147. You may spend a little more money, but the overall aggravation should be much less.

Getting yourselves to Saugus is a lot of extra travel to a congested area on the opposite side of town. You will pay $40-50 each way to travel by Uber down route 1 through the tunnel to the port.
