Best place to view ships approach into Boston?

Recommended Posts

We wanted to drive in tomorrow and watch the Summit arrive. I’ve worked down at the building next to the Black Falcon terminal and we could get to the back parking lot. People always parked there to watch the planes and ships.

Anyone know if this is still an option? Any other good places to see the ship come in from ME?

They sometimes close off the edge of the pier beyond (towards the airport) where the ships tie up.

The fishing pier at Castle Island would be my pick, but it might be crazy there tomorrow with the USS Constitution doing her sail

We saw the Summit coming in as we were finishing up our lap around the Causeway. And saw the Queen Mary as we drove past Black Falcon.

The fishing pier wasn't too crowded yet at 9:15, but it got crazy towards noon I hear.
