We got back yesterday, day early due to bad weather We were kinda warned that cruising around Fiji, New Caledonia etc could be raining with cyclones this time of year was a bit risky BUT New Zealand let us down and I live here. Missed Dravuni Island due to the wharf not been ready. Missed Norfolk Island due to the swell, not a good wharf there for tendering anyway

so we headed to the Bay of Islands then missed that due to high winds getting back to Auckland 11.30am Thursday instead of Friday morning 7am.

I felt sorry for the people who traveled from the other side of the world to do this cruise

We came from the states and were definitely disappointed by 3 missed ports when this itinerary already had so many sea days. I’d be surprised if seabourn does this itinerary again... we wished they had tried to make dravuni work especially since we went to Lautoka on Boxing Day when the entire city was closed. That seemed like poor planning... most people we talked to were very unimpressed and bummed by both the Suva and Lautoka stops...

I thought the offer of a discount on a future cruise was very good on Seabourns part was very good as Seabourn could not control the weather where as they could have done nothing extra above returning the "port" fees

How much of a discount was offered on future cruises?

We got a letter on 4th on the bed saying 10% off the base fare we paid on a new future cruise booking as long as it was booked by Jan 2019 but doesn't need to be taken in this time frame

Talking to others that seemed to be the norm
