Hair dryers on the Riviera

So excited to be taking our 1st Oceania cruise in a few weeks. Can anyone tell me what type of hair dryer I'll find in my stateroom onboard the Riviera?....the dreaded wall mount or handheld? Thanks!!

Hand held....... in bag in drawer! I have searched for dryer in the past. J. :D

Really good one too! Easy to blow dry, not too heavy and with a couple of speeds and heats.

Oceania frowns on that. Fire is a big concern. They now will unplug your mobile or anything that is charging (iPAD, PC) when you are not in the stateroom. No customer extension cords allowed either.

The one on Regatta is likely the same that is on the other ships is 1875W.

Does anyone know if a diffuser is available for the hair dryer onboard?

And if one is not included in the hair dryer bag, just ask your room steward or Butler.

Yes...there was a diffuser in the bag with the hair dryer in our room.

I'm not sure about terminology of hair dryers, but the dryer in our room on Marina had what I would call a concentrater attachment and I thought a diffuser was a circular attachment that the end away from the dryer was large and had multiple small "windows" in the end.  Not a great description but the best I can do.  Have never seen what I described as a diffuser on any of the ships.

Ooops...now that you describe it, you are right! It wasn't a diffuser in the bag.
