Grand Anse Beach

We had a cruise stop in Grenada Thursday. We are beach people so we went to Grand Anse. Took a cab over. $ 5 pp but the guy would not leave until his van was packed. Traffic was bad and streets very narrow but we saw part of the city.

The Beach was very nice. Water very clear. Reminded me of Orient beach. They have beach servers everywhere trying for your business.

Padded lounge Chairs were $10 ea with the umbrella

We like it a lot. On the trip back we took the water taxi. Much faster and the same $5 pp. only drawback is you get on and off at the waters edge. You do get your feet wet but it was a nice ride. Dock by the ship. Beer was $3. They had buckets of 6 for $15. Food was ok.

A note they are building a water taxi dock at the beach. Be done by summer probably.
