What's included in the DOS on the Dawn?

Reserved seating in the theater balcony.

Just a little further input...

Be sure to ask your concierge about "when and where" to meet for this perk, and BE ON TIME!

The concierge generally does not hang around once the show is about to start.

Frequently, after he/she leaves, plenty of non-suite cruisers will take any available seats!

Actually, the DOS has assigned seats in the theater (with a plaque on them and everything). Our butler escorted us to our seats when we sailed in 2014. Not sure if those seats are released after showtime or not, though.

Based on our experience on Dawn/Star is they have the roped off area sometimes left upper or right upper or both with the box seats for GV/OS/DOS. They tend to leave just as show starts and we've seen folks filter into those seats if they aren't filled.

I know you get a butler and access to the concierge. But what other perks do you get with it?

Thanks.

Do you have an inner or outer DOS? The rooms are quite different. You also get unlimited in room bottled water and soda. You'll get one Champagne. Daily snacks in the room - generally you'll want to specify what you like otherwise you'll get crap on a cracker.

Oh, and a flower arrangement.

Love the DOS on the Dawn. One time we had a tour of the bridge. Someone mentioned that breakfast and lunch might not be in Cagney's anymore (I believe they said Moderno's, but could be wrong). Jan

In November, breakfast and lunch were in Moderno, with overflow seating in Cagney's.

We just booked an inner 2-bedroom DOS on the Dawn. It was actually less expensive than most of the other suites. We don't think we'll miss the balcony -- our cruise only has one sea day and we barely used our balcony on 5-ports-in-1-week cruise we did in November.

While we didn't love everything about the Dawn, we liked it well enough to do another southern itinerary on the ship!

We've done the inner 2-bedroom before and have it booked again for September. We don't miss the balcony ..... the windows in the master bedroom is amazing. Agree on the price being less expensive ... Thanks for confirming the breakfast/lunch location change. Jan

Great question. First we booked an inner room. Then we watched some youtube videos and realized that it had less windows an an extra bedroom that we don't want/need. So we switched to an outer room.

If we were going with only the two of us I would get an outer room .... I've had the opportunity to go in one and they are wonderful ... for two it is perfect! Jan

Have a great trip - that is a great room and the living room is HUGE.

Be aware that windows could be fogged but there have been very, very few reports of that especially since the last drydock. There is also a crew walkway around those rooms and one day there was a guy who walked past the front windows to the side ladder and went up one flight. Extra-curricular activities beware!
