azam71209 Posted January 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2018 What are the seas likely to be like on this voyage on Nautica? Just wondering what meds to take for seasickness. Do I need to plan for serious rocking? Thanks, Mary
Rare Noxequifans Posted January 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2018 We did encounter "bumpy" water in the South China Sea but non-drowsy Dramamine did the trick. Enjoy.

Mylisa Posted January 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2018 I always take meclizine (commonly known as Bonine over the counter) just in case. It’s non-drowsy. I have experienced very bad sea sickness to the point of having to have a shot by the doctor, in the past but while on this I do fine. I usually start it the day before we board. I take 2 pills a day no matter the weather. As they say, “an ounce of prevention....”.
azam71209 Posted January 21, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted January 21, 2018 Thanks, everyone. Dramamine usually works for me but when I know we are going where the seas are especially rough, I bring the patch. Sounds like the dramamine should suffice on this trip.
