group vacation few questions

I am coordinating a group vacation for my mothers birthday. There are 24 of us ranging from age 15 to 80. While everyone is free to do their own thing, there are a couple of nights we will have dinner together but was thinking first night will be a bit hectic. I was wondering if there was a good place to informally get together for a little while on the first night to connect and begin our vacation together. We are sailing on the Escape to Bermuda.

I was also wondering where the smoking areas are help prepare those who need it. (not me, I'm officially 17 years smoke free this month) I've been on the Breakaway and know there was smoking toward the front of the ship on the waterfront. Anywhere else? Any other info for groups would also be appreciated.

Thanks
