got off. I am due to pay my balance within the next couple of weeks, and not reading too many good reviews of the ship on the review page of this site.

Would appreciate if anyone currently on this ship could give me information if they are enjoying the ship-----or not:(.

Thanks in advance.

Not currently on the ship but we have been on the Divina two times and would not hesitate to book it again. It is a lovely ship and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of cruising with MSC. We have been on the Seaside once and have it booked a second time for October. We are Platinum with Carnival and actually now go between Carnival and MSC.

We weer there at the end of April and we did have a fabulous time.

MSC is NOT like Celebrity or HAL. But the prices are great.

The service is okay, not perfect. The food is good and the ship is still beautiful.

For the price we did pay this cruise was just perfect.

Went on the Divina in 2014 after reading terrible reviews along with some good ones and had a fabulous time. Booked on her again in November and looking forward to it. I think it's more about what people expect than about the ship. The ship is beautiful although the layout is confusing. Go with the right attitude and you'll have a wonderful time. Bob

Was on the Divina in February 2017 - Fantastica experience. Cruising on Divina again this January - Fantastica experience. Looking so very forward to it. We enjoyed Divina more than Seaside (the only two MSC ships we have cruised on). We thought the crew were super friendly and the officers wanted to hear (at the Meet N Mingle) our likes and dislikes compared to other cruise lines. They really seem to care!! My husband and I enjoy walking during the day, outdoors. No place to walk (for exercise) on Seaside (at least we didn't find it) other than the gym which we didn't want to do. We could walk on the deck with the life boats on the Divina which suited us just fine. We also like to dance and from what I remember there were two or three places that we could dance. The shows were okay.....didn't attend many. Casino was fun.....we happened to leave with a little more than we started with so that made it super fun;)

Our "Friends and Family" group cruise (26 of us)was on the Divina this past January. We LOVED it and have booked for Jan 2019. So for 22 of last year's group has booked as well as 8 others. Ya....they are a bit different than HAL, Celebrity and Princess, but not necessarily in a bad way. THe ship is beautiful, staff service was a bit spotty, at least it was last Jan, but a staff member told me that was because a lot of the experienced crew was transferred to the new "Seaside" and a lot of the crew was new. That issue should be resolved by now. Cabins comfortable, food was good and the shows were the best I've seen at sea.

We enjoyed the Divina last summer and are now booked on Seaview in 2 weeks - will be interested in seeing the difference - I believe the cruise will be What do you make of it… We had previously cruised carnival and Royal Caribbean and liked each of them equally but for different reasons… Would not hesitate to book Divina - it’s a beautiful ship!

Ps - I rely tremendously on reviews but realize out of thousands who cruise only a handful actually review so sometimes the negative might outweigh the positive but I would think if it was a real problem we’d know about it. [emoji6]

We found the entertainment...Entertaining...:D

:Dit is just the same crew doing different venues...We are not musical/Broadway minded people, but is was entertaining...Our little girl of 5 years old loved it!

Some bars had live music at night, but because our little girl had to go to bed...We didn't see much of the late entertainment...I walked through it some times around 0.00 and it looked like fun.

The entertainment in the big theatre was the better than HAL and also Celebrity....But the bar entertainment was a bit less fun as on HAL and Celebrity....There were non pub quizzes which I like a lot....This is because of all the languages being spoken.. there are simply not enough english speaking people on the ship to organise such events I think...

We are booked for our 2nd Divina cruise in November. A 12 day Caribbean. We had a great time on the first one, and are looking forward to going again. The ship is gorgeous, and kept cleaner than any other ship we've been on.
